Ivan Barratt, CPM
Founder & CEO
Ivan Barratt is a 20 year veteran of the real estate industry and currently serves as founder and CEO of The BAM Companies. Ivan is a multifamily owner, fund manager, and syndicator who specializes in large apartment communities in the Midwest. Since 2015, he has raised nearly $700M in equity and acquired well over 5,900 units. He has also grown the BAM Companies to a three-time Inc 5000 Best in Series private equity and management firm. Today, Ivan focuses his time on equity finance, acquisitions, and company strategy.
Ivan is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization, Entrepreneurs Organization, and the National Multi-Housing Council. Ivan serves on the Executive Board of the Indiana Apartment Association and is a member of The Penrod Society, a not-for-profit arts organization.
He enjoys public speaking and has been on countless podcasts discussing real estate, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. Ivan lives in Carmel, IN with his wife and three children.

Adam Ehret
President & COO
Adam Ehret directs acquisitions, debt financing, and asset management for BAM's principal activities. With 20+ years of real estate experience and over $1 billion in transaction volume, Adam identifies value-oriented, institutional-quality real estate investment opportunities.
Since 2015, Adam has led the BAM Companies to become an operations-focused firm that delivers proven performance through calculated risk management, forward-thinking strategy, and maximized returns. Prior to partnering with Ivan Barratt, Adam worked as a multifamily investment broker for Cushman & Wakefield.
An active member of his community, Adam currently serves on the Board of the Indianapolis Legatus Chapter, and is the Chair of St. John's "Preserving our Heritage, Inspiring Hope" Capital Campaign. He formerly served on the Board of the San Damiano Scholarship Program (Marian University), and the SON Foundation.

Emilee Meyers, MBA
Chief of Staff
As the Chief of Staff for The BAM Companies, Emilee is primarily responsible for driving strategic initiatives throughout the organization and overseeing cross-functional groups to ensure teams are regularly working in alignment with the company’s mission and vision. A highly trusted executive, Emilee serves as an extension of the CEO & COO, representing their interests to both internal and external stakeholders.
Emilee brings 12 years of business across a variety of fields that have given her a holistic perspective of our organization. She currently retains oversight of the accounting, finance, and HR and operations departments at The BAM Companies and has been involved in the execution of both acquisitions and disposition transactions totaling over $500M.
Emilee holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA from Butler University. Before joining The BAM Companies in 2015, Emilee worked in banking and commercial real estate. Emilee lives in Zionsville with her husband and four children and enjoys golf, live music, and the musical Hamilton.

Tony Landa
Chief Investment Officer
Tony Landa is the Chief Investment Officer at The BAM Companies. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment strategy including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and fund formation. With over 30 years of real estate experience, Tony has been directly involved in more than $3 billion of real estate transactions which includes approximately 14,000 apartment units and 5.7 million square feet of commercial space.
Before joining The BAM Companies, Tony worked at a Family Office where he was responsible for acquiring multifamily and commercial real estate nationwide, as well as post-closing execution. Other experience includes several years with Prudential Real Estate Investors working in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and joint venture development.
Tony received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from Hillsdale College and an MBA from Wayne State University. In his spare time, Tony enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Abbas currently leads strategic initiatives for BAM Companies, a family-owned business in Indiana. Prior to this, he was instrumental in driving strategic launches and growth functions within the Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management division in New York. His strategic leadership played a pivotal role in the division's significant growth, a testament to his business acumen and ability to drive results.
Abbas is a passionate AI advocate who champions technology, data analytics, behavioral finance, and digital innovation to streamline capital-raising. He specializes in simplifying tactics for introverted capital raisers and founders, employing data-driven strategies to address the complexities of investment engagements. His experience as a speaker at international conferences provides a unique platform to share innovative perspectives with global audiences. Kyle Hill
Chief Financial Officer
Kyle Hill is a 20+ year veteran of the financial services industry, with a specific concentration in private equity funds investing in everything from real estate to wineries. Kyle has served as CFO, COO, and Senior Auditor for organizations such as Arthur Andersen, LLP, CSI Capital Management, Inc. and Terroir Capital. He has also served as the CFO for the general partners of Athlon Venture Fund I, Dawson Real Estate Fund, and the Terroir family of Funds.
In his CFO roles, Kyle has provided expertise ranging from budgeting/forecasting, risk management, investor relations, raising capital, KPI development & reporting, price modeling, and more. He has significant experience in staff development and operations and has helped design and implement several incentive compensation plans.
Kyle’s industry experience includes real estate development, hospitality, vineyard/winery, digital marketing agencies, data analytics consulting & staffing, mining consulting & staffing, SaaS, brokerage services, safety manufacturers, & private equity funds.

Dr. Jacquie Hart
Executive Advisor
Dr. Hart has three decades of experience in roles including Global CEO and Corporate Director for a portfolio of companies. Her executive leadership roles include the US and global companies from the Fortune 50 to privately held and public benefit companies. Jacquie has a deep focus on banking, brokerage, trust & investments, insurance, lending, finance, fintech, private equity, real estate, and philanthropy. Partnerships and investments include consumer products, hospitality, entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, staffing, and technology.
Jacquie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs with backgrounds in construction, real estate, property management, and healthcare. That was a catalyst for her to start her own company while in college. She worked with entrepreneurs to exponentially grow their revenues and profits by systematizing their growth. In 1988, she entered the investment industry and over her career has worked for companies including Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, Household International (HSBC), and Neuberger Berman. Jacquie has served as adjunct faculty in the investment industry since 1998 and participated and led a number of complex M&A deals in highly regulated sectors.
Jacquie is an investor, advisor, and Corporate Director. She is the recipient of several honors and awards, has been published in a variety of media, speaks at conferences and symposiums including a panel for the United Nations Foundation, and continues to teach in Executive Education programs.
Jacquie has devoted time, talent, and treasure to causes she cares deeply about and has co-founded a number of charitable organizations. In 2010 she was recruited by Korn Ferry International to be the Global CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation with chapters and affiliates providing funding for programs that improve health outcomes for nearly 2,000 hospitals and clinics around the world.
Jacquie currently focuses on a select portfolio of companies sharing her experience in building people and performance worldwide. Her passion and areas of expertise include executive coaching, angel investing, hypergrowth, people & culture, industry disruption & innovation, risk & compliance, and mergers & acquisitions. Jacquie’s work in the field of impact investing, a $500 billion industry that unleashes the power of capital for good, allows her to intersect her careers in profit and purpose.
Jacquie holds a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in political science with an emphasis in international political economy and later earned an MBA in global management and a doctorate in organizational leadership focusing on epistemology, organizational psychology, and management. Greg Sylvester
General Counsel
Greg leads the legal department and provides legal support and advice to all departments within the BAM Companies. Greg has over ten years of experience in real estate transactional work, focusing on commercial real estate and financing transactions. Immediately prior to his role as General Counsel, Greg served as the Associate General Counsel at The BAM Companies.
Greg has experience in all aspects of real estate including purchase and sale agreement preparation and negotiation, legal due diligence, leasing and financing. He has served as counsel for the acquisition and disposition of multifamily and commercial assets with a collective transactional value in excess of $250M.
Greg received his bachelor’s degree from Depauw University and his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is an active member in The Penrod Society, a not-for- profit arts organization, and the Real Estate and Business Sections of the Indianapolis Bar Association. When away from the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, Erika, and his two sons, Dominic and Theo.

Katherine Herron
VP, Investor Relations
Katherine Herron is Vice President of Investor Relations for BAM Capital where she is responsible for the advancement of the IR Department and facilitating the needs of BAM Capital’s significant investor base. She has 15 years of relevant experience in real estate and financial services operations, which includes the residential, commercial, and development sectors of the industry.
Prior to joining BAM Capital, Katherine served as the Executive VP of Investor Relations for a west coast multifamily syndicator where she was responsible for a team of 10 professionals servicing over 3,000 limited partners and $1.5 billion in AUM. Katherine has also been directly involved in raising over $600 million in equity across multiple products and investor groups. With a strong background in private equity and real estate investments, she brings a unique approach to her role by working closely with all departments to attain maximum investor satisfaction and trust.
She holds an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate from University of California Irvine and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University. In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children at the beach or a park, hosting get-togethers with friends, and yoga classes.

Lara Compton
VP, Capital Markets
Lara Compton is the Vice President of Capital Markets, responsible for the distribution, institutional product leadership, and wealth advisory business growth to enhance BAM Capital’s corporate strategy.
Prior to joining The BAM Companies, Lara served as the Vice President, Capital Markets - Private Clients for Milhaus. Prior to that role, she was Director of Marketing at Sterling Partners Equity Advisors, where she was responsible for developing research relationships and increasing sales and distribution efforts at several firms including Brookfield Asset Management, Calamos Investments, and DWS Investments.
Lara received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.

Andrew Hogan
Senior Director, Capital Markets
As the Senior Director of Capital Markets, Andrew leads his team members to provide open and transparent insights and education to current and prospective partners of BAM Capital
Andrew has taken on a handful of roles in business development throughout the U.S. and Latin America. His leadership sprouted while serving a two-year service mission in Colombia where he led 100 other missionaries to diligently labor and obtain their goals. After missionary service, Andrew worked in Paraguay consulting nearly 100 small and medium business entrepreneurs teaching strategic finance and accounting skills.
Upon graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Latin-American Studies and Global Business, Andrew worked for Cushman & Wakefield Mexico where he authored multiple reports on market research and capital markets. He also pioneered corporate business development for a South American real estate development company as a strategic partner with Jones Lang LaSalle.
As an active member in his community, Andrew has served as a youth mentor in his church for the past decade. In his free time, Andrew loves to spend time with his wife and daughters.

Nick Meyer
Director, Investor Relations
As Director of Investor Relations, Nick works to serve and build strong relationships with current investors to help build and deliver the best experience for them with BAM Capital.
Nick’s varied background includes education, fundraising, sales, business development, partnerships, and customer success in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors — building and leading teams of both volunteers and employees. He has successfully established trust, working cross-departmentally to communicate quickly and accurately internally and to customers and investors, and guiding his teams to exceed expectations.
Outside of work, Nick loves spending time with his wife, Stephanie, two young children, dog, friends, and family. He is very active at his church, St. John the Evangelist, as the President of the Parish Council and on the leadership team for the men’s ministry. Otherwise, he enjoys being outside, grilling, on a hike, chatting with neighbors over the fence, reading, playing guitar and piano, and being willing to play any game.

Alessandra Cortes
Manager, Investor Relations
Alessandra Cortes holds the position of Investor Relations Manager at BAM Capital, where her responsibilities include overseeing the investment process and managing the ongoing needs of BAM Capital's growing group of investors. Alessandra possesses over a decade of relevant experience in real estate, property management, and legal services.
Before joining BAM Capital, Alessandra acted as Investor Relations Manager for a West Coast multifamily syndicator. In this role, she played an instrumental part in closing more than $300 million in equity and ensured that investors received thorough and timely communication. Before this, she worked in property management, where she assisted in managing a senior housing asset and worked closely with residents and their families. She has also worked in the corporate legal field as a paralegal focusing on mergers and acquisitions.
Alessandra graduated from the University of San Diego, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Conflict Resolution. She also earned a Paralegal Certificate in General Litigation from the same institution. During her free time, Alessandra enjoys spending quality time with her husband and young son.

Max Eiteljorg
Business Development Executive
Max serves as the Business Development Executive of Investor Relations for BAM Capital. He is responsible for expanding the partner base as well as advancing relationships with current partners.
Max has a background in a variety of entrepreneurial activities including casino gaming, magic, real estate, and controls and automation. Max has over six years of real estate experience. He worked most recently in acquisitions and client relations for a national real estate company primarily focused on single family acquisitions and management. He is also a licensed real estate broker and has been serving the greater Indianapolis area for over five years.
Max received his Bachelors of Science from Indiana University, where he majored in Public Financial Management. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. He currently sits on a number of non-profit boards and loves to give back to the community.

Dimitrius Kiritsis
Business Development Coordinator
Dimitri serves as the Business Development Coordinator on the Investor relations team for BAM Capital. He is responsible for creating relationships and providing prospective investors with complete transparency.
He grew a passion for real estate early on by working as the maintenance and management arm for his family's third-generation mobile home community. This passion led him to work in business development for a home restoration company and learn the intricacies of improving structural integrity and building facades. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Indiana.
Dimitri attended Indiana University, where he majored in Law and Public Policy and received his Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Pia Philina Jayme-Kinaadman
Specialist, Investor Relations
Pia Philina Jayme-Kinaadman works for The BAM Companies as an Executive Assistant to the CEO and has recently assumed a role supporting the Acquisitions Team as Specialist, Investor Relations with BAM Capital. Pia believes that the ultimate secret to thriving in the administrative arena is the willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
In 2017, she served as an Executive Director of iCollaborate: Making the Rights Real for PWDs where she was able to highlight her leadership and organizational skills. In 2018, her thesis, "Environment Codification Genesis: The Political Climate in Cebu City" made it to the 2018 Philippine Political Science Association's International Conference on Multilevel Governance in the 21st Century. Her burning passion for kids and teaching led her to a fruitful internship at World Vision Philippines in 2016.
Her skills and interests include organizing, hosting, singing, and dancing.

Margarette Seno works as an Investor Relations Associate with BAM Capital.
Before joining the team, she was a Customer Support Representative at a telecommunications company and Publishing Consultant. Margarette also ventured into the travel industry as a Travel Agent for three years. These previous roles gave her valuable communication and attention to detail skills which makes her invaluable to the BAM Capital team.
She loves the ocean and often goes snorkeling in her free time. She believes there isn't a task too difficult to accomplish.

Ryan Thie
Vice President of Asset Management
Ryan Thie’s responsibilities include the oversight and analysis of the BAM Companies portfolio’s performance and assisting in acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
Ryan has been a member of the BAM Fam since 2014. He possesses a diverse background in property and asset management. During the early, formative years of Barratt Asset Management, Ryan oversaw the portfolio of scattered sites and assisted with acquisitions, due diligence, and dispositions.
Ryan’s unique, well-rounded skill set, and experience helps add value to the BAM Companies through identifying key opportunities and efficiencies to help optimize revenue and expenses. This ultimately maximize returns for our investors.
Ryan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Management from Indiana University Bloomington and currently serves as a Co-Chair on the BAM Companies' Philanthropy Committee.

Alec Bannister
Acquisitions Manager
Alec Bannister is responsible for sourcing and analyzing new acquisitions that align with the performance and investment criteria of The BAM Companies.
Alec is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an Officer in the US Army’s Air Defense Artillery branch for five years. Following his military service, Alec entered the multifamily market as an Asset Manager.
Alec was directly involved in more than $150 million of real estate transactions which included the acquisition of nearly 1,300 apartment units. He also provided project management, financial, and operational support to a portfolio of 67 properties totaling more than 11,000 units valued at approximately $750 million.
Alec’s background and experience make him a creative problem-solver, determined to deliver the best results for The BAM Companies’ growth within the multifamily market. When away from the office, Alec enjoys playing with his dog, Michie, coaching youth basketball, and traveling with his wife, Emily.

Derek Braak
Financial Analyst
Derek Braak brings four years of commercial real estate experience to the BAM Capital team.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University, he began a career as a development analyst at a firm in Grand Haven, MI focused on the development of Class A multifamily properties in West Michigan. Derek also brings experience from the medical industry.
As a Financial Analyst, Derek is responsible for investment underwriting and collaborating with the Acquisition team to drive investment decision-making. Responsibilities include financial modeling, market research, preparation of reporting metrics, and ad hoc projects.

Vicki Johnson
Vice President of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Vicki oversees the marketing department, including initiatives in paid advertising, lead generation, content creation, workflow automation, reporting, and events.
Vicki has over 14 years of experience in marketing and event planning across several industries. She has managed marketing for arenas, historic theaters, a symphony, and a conservation organization.
She has her bachelor’s degree in Arts Management with a minor in Discovery Informatics from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Vicki most recently moved from Idaho to Indiana and enjoys traveling and hiking with her dogs.

Jacey Crawford
Content Manager
As Content Manager at The BAM Companies, Jacey oversees all corporate social media, content creation, and creative projects. She also manages our video and graphic design teams, leveraging her diverse background in journalism, podcasting, copywriting, and multimedia content creation.
Jacey joined The BAM Companies in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous roles. She began her career as a journalist at Indianapolis news station WISH-TV before transitioning to report and write for the popular podcast network Audiochuck. Additionally, she co-owned a photography and video production business.
Outside of work, Jacey enjoys thrift shopping, home renovating, and photographing nature. She's also an avid pickleball player and loves spending quality time with her husband and their two adorable dogs.

Kelly Dickey
Marketing Manager, Property Management
As Marketing Manager, Kelly is responsible for overseeing branding and identity across a portfolio of properties, managing campaigns and content creation, and implementing social media best practices.
Kelly has more than a decade of experience, starting with a career in journalism before transferring her writing, social media, photography, copy editing, and videography skills to content marketing in the construction and real estate industries.

She has served as a Customer Service Representative in the telecommunications industry, a Language and Development Trainer for call centers, and a Social Media/Marketing Coordinator for a multi-business organization.
Driven by a lifelong passion for arts and music, Vita found her calling in design and creativity, leading her to join The BAM Companies four years ago. Kyle Roberts
VP of Finance and Accounting
As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Kyle oversees accounting operations related to BAM Construction, BAM Management, and BAM Capital’s various funds and joint ventures. Kyle contributes to the reporting function of over 500 limited partners and provides ad hoc analyses for the finance and investor relations teams.
Kyle is a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Accounting and Finance. Kyle’s diverse background in multifamily and private equity group accounting, for start-up and large-scale companies, gives him the expertise needed to help scale growing companies’ accounting operations.

Jayce Everling
Director of Operations (HQ)
Jayce Everling brings his human resources degree, SHRM-CP human resources certification, his Masters of Business Administration, passion for people, and experiences from various industries to the BAM Companies team.
After receiving his Bachelor’s of Business from the Kelley School of Business Honors Program at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, he began his career at the BAM Companies in July 2020. During his work experience prior to coming to BAM, he was able to cultivate a variety of experiences in retail, higher education, operations, and team leadership. In May 2023, he graduated with his MBA and holds a SHRM-CP certification as of December 2021.
As Director of Operations, Jayce is responsible for the hiring, development, training, compensation, and workplace culture of the BAM Companies's impressive roster of talent. Responsibilities include sourcing individuals to join the BAMFAM, working with employee groups in an effort to implement new policies and procedures, creating meaningful opportunities for teams, and anything else that involves employment. Since joining the company, he has continued to grow and was promoted in May 2023 as the Director of Operations, which now includes oversight of administration and information technology as well.
Jayce is thankful for the opportunity to work with such incredible, motivated, and insightful individuals every day, and is excited for the future that BAM has in store.

Kylee Kurtz
Accounting Manager
As Accounting Manager at the BAM Companies, Kylee is responsible for the full suite of portfolio accounting functions.
Kylee oversees accounts payable, utility accounting, reserve disbursements, and renovation accounting.
She works closely with the BAM Companies' lenders, auditors, and other third-party consultants to support the financial reporting needs of the $450M portfolio of multifamily assets.
Kylee is involved in the preparation of internal company financials and assists with investor accounting and distribution processing.
With over 10 years of onsite property management experience prior to joining the department, Kylee brings invaluable expertise and professionalism to the team.

Law Clerk
As Law Clerk for The BAM Companies, Geri is responsible for analyzing title, survey, and zoning information in property transactions, working with lenders and loan servicers on financing, and managing property-related litigation.
Geri received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Purdue University and her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. Prior to joining The BAM Companies, Geri specializing in litigation in the multifamily housing industry.
